The forbidden forest
«The price of thousands of innocents...»

There they were, the two young friends walking deep inside the forest, little by little, the wild woods were slowly becoming more horrific, trees were dying, tombstones, bones, strange wails were all coming from around them. But it was far too late to go back, they were already lost and surrounded by the dark forest, now with a thick fog that made it impossible for them to see very far above them, and the air that became increasingly more heavy. They were scared, the forests had nothing like the peaceful lands that were at less than a mile from them.
After an hour or two of walking, they no longer knew how far into the forest they were, or how long they really had been there for. The first man started to hear a voice, a female's voice...
She had been whispering about how he could leave this dark forest, and which way he should take to get out. She however instructed him not to alert his friend of her, or she would abandon him to his fate.
The man accepted her terms, naively following her instructions without a second thought as the second man heard a similar voice, and did the exact same.
However soon thewoman began giving the two both wrong and conflicted directions as they slowly started to argue with eachother. The madness of walking for hours easily broke their friendship, as they separated onto their own paths, convinced that they would find the way out on their own, without the other.
Some time passed, and the woman's voice was now giving them the same indications. They were however completely lost, and had no idea about where they were, the time of day, or anything outside of the womans voice who directed them. Eventually, they found a castle in the forest, arriving at different ends of it.
What was in this castle? Why was it here in the middle of the forest? The boys were clueless about these questions, but they were also too exhausted to care as they trudged on and entered the castle mindlessly.
